• To carry out and complete the transaction between you and the developer, vendor, proprietor, or any other relevant party;

• To enable us to perform our duties, obligations, and legal services, whether for your current matter or any future matters you may engage us for.

Provision of your personal data is mandatory, and failure to do so may prevent us from completing the transaction or providing our legal services.

2. Disclosure of Personal Data

In the course of providing our services, you consent to Roopa & Co disclosing or transferring your personal data to:

• Developers, vendors, proprietors, and their authorised representatives;

• Government authorities, statutory bodies, land offices, and registries;

• Banks and financial institutions;

• Professional advisers, agents, contractors, consultants, or service providers involved in the transaction;

• Our lawyers, staff, and administrative personnel working on your file.

All such parties are required to handle your personal data responsibly and only for the purposes stated above.

3. Access, Correction, and Updates

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data in our possession by contacting us in writing. A nominal fee (currently RM10 per request, subject to change under applicable laws) may apply for access requests. Your request will take effect once acknowledged by us.

4. Mandatory Information

Certain personal data is essential for us to process your transaction and provide legal services. Without this information, we may be unable to proceed with or complete the relevant matter.
